New Orleans Cruise Schedule

About this site

NewOrleansCruiseSchedule is an independent schedule of cruises leaving the Port of New Orleans. It lists 365 sailings on 7 ships from 4 cruise lines, from October 2026 to October 2028.

We don't sell cruises. There is no booking engine, account or newsletter here. The fare buttons go to Cruisebound, a cruise booking site, which pays us a commission if you book there. The affiliate disclosure explains how that works.

What this schedule covers

We list the cruises Cruisebound sells from New Orleans: ocean cruises with Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International, and Norwegian Cruise Line, and Viking's river cruises on the Mississippi.

American Cruise Lines also runs Mississippi river cruises from New Orleans, and its riverboats take up a good part of the port's schedule. Cruisebound doesn't sell them, so they are not listed here. American Cruise Lines publishes its own departures at americancruiselines.com. A few other ships appear on the port's schedule once or twice. Unless Cruisebound sells a cruise that starts here on that day, they are left out too.

How the schedule is put together

Each sailing comes from two sources, and each source is used for what it does best:

  1. the Port of New Orleans publishes a cruise vessel schedule: which ship is at which wharf, and when. It runs about six months ahead, currently to Thu, Apr 22, 2027. We use it to confirm that a departure is real.
  2. Cruisebound publishes every sailing it sells from New Orleans, with the date, the ship and a starting fare. It reaches much further ahead than the port's schedule.
  3. Ports of call come from the day-by-day itinerary Cruisebound publishes for each sailing.
  4. If we can't read the full list of ports for a sailing, it is left out. We would rather show fewer cruises than show one with gaps.

How sure we are

As of 2026-10-23:

StatusSailingsWhat it means
Confirmed114 The ship is on the port's schedule for that date, and Cruisebound sells the sailing.
Beyond the port's schedule251 The sailing is after Thu, Apr 22, 2027, the last day the port has published so far. Only Cruisebound lists it for now.

We record which ports a sailing visits. The order and the times in port can change, so check the line's day-by-day itinerary if that matters to you.

About the fares

A fare here is the lowest price per person Cruisebound listed for that sailing, with taxes and port fees included. Where we know which cabin it is for, the table says so. 365 of the 365 sailings have one, and each shows the date we checked it.

These are not live quotes. Cruise prices move every day, so treat a fare as a way to compare one sailing with another, then check the real price before you book. Where we have no fare, the table says "check prices" instead of guessing.

Keeping it current

The site is rebuilt every morning. Each rebuild reads the port's schedule and today's fares again, and sailings that have already left drop off. The date of the last update is at the top of every listing and in the footer.

Sources

The planning guides list their own sources, mostly the Port of New Orleans and the operators each guide covers.

Independence

This site is not affiliated with the Port of New Orleans or with any cruise line. Its only commercial link is the affiliate arrangement with Cruisebound, which the affiliate disclosure describes. It does not change the order sailings appear in, and fares are shown as Cruisebound listed them, not marked up.

When something is wrong

Cruise lines change schedules often, and a list like this can fall behind between updates. The cruise line is always the final word on dates, ports and prices.
